Florida National Guard to hold 9-11 ceremony at Camp Blanding on Sunday

WHAT:  The Florida National Guard will hold a ceremony to mark the 10th Anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

 WHEN: 8:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011.

 WHERE: Camp Blanding Joint Training Center, State Road 16, Starke, Fla. (between Penney Farms and Starke)

 The ceremony at the Camp Blanding Museum and Memorial Park will begin at 8:30 a.m. The event will honor: all who lost their lives that day; all who have lost their lives in service 9-11; and all who continue to serve and protect this nation.

 The event will feature guest speakers, military and civilian dignitaries, and the Patriot Guard Riders.

 The ceremony is scheduled to last one hour.  The public is invited.  Be prepared to provide proper forms of identification and adhere to security requirments when arriving at Camp Blanding since it is a military post.
