Florida’s Mexican War Casualties

Florida provided five companies of militia volunteers for federal service during the war with Mexico, 1846-1848. One company, that of Captain Henry E. W. Clark, was subsequently taken into the Regular Army as Company K, 13th U.S. Infantry. Included in the list below are only those men from Florida companies. Floridians who enlisted in the Regular Army or Navy or the volunteer units of other states are not included.
