Civic Engagement Request:
The Florida Department of Military Affairs strives to educate the citizens of Florida about the missions, roles and capabilities of our Citizen Soldiers and Airmen serving in the Florida National Guard. As a community-based organization with Service members in most communities throughout the state, the Florida National Guard supports and participates in events, such as parades, ceremonies and air shows and makes it a mission to be a good neighbor and community partner.
We encourage event organizers to read through the information and download the necessary forms to request military support from the Florida National Guard. While we make every effort to support as many requests as possible throughout the year, mission and training requirements always come first and, therefore, support for approved events may not always be possible.
All requests will be reviewed to ensure events are in accordance with the Department of Defense Directive 5410.18, Army Regulation 360-1 and Air Force Instruction 35-101.
To request a speaker at your event please send us your request in writing at fl.ng.pao@mail.
All requests for community support should be submitted at least 75 days in advance. Requests received within 15 days of the event will NOT be considered.
